Home / Playlists / Brewtubers 2024 Fruit Experiment / Fruit Experiment Review #3 — Strawberry extract at kegging
Nick from Exit 12 — the experiment's organizer and the club's most famously fastidious cleaner, a reputation this video milks for all it's worth — took the minimalist route: just two ounces of strawberry extract added at kegging.
Because the strawberry never touched fermentation, it stands on its own as pure flavor, and the word that keeps coming up is "balanced" — just the right amount of everything, with more malt character showing through than any beer so far. It's not a strawberry beer; it's a very good wheat beer with a hint of strawberry. Verdict at the time: the favorite of the experiment so far.
