Fruit Experiment Review #6 — Whole strawberries at cold crash

Billy from GamnDood Brewing added whole frozen strawberries at cold crash, and the result lands in the sweet spot: subtle strawberry that complements the base beer rather than taking it over. By beer six, the series' big pattern is fully visible — hot-side fruit gives you fermented, estery character; cold-side gives you fresh fruit flavor — and this one makes the case for cold-side restraint.

It earns a spot near the top of the rankings-in-progress, alongside Nick's extract beer, for exactly that subtlety. As the review puts it: Billy is a very good brewer, and the empty glasses backed that up.
